    1. sleep
    2. error
    3. old age.

    1. age

    3. grief.
  16. Three things which keep their word faithfully:
    1. death
    2. retribution
    3. remorse.
  17. Three things the true human obeys:
    1. truth
    2. the world which is to come
    3. the cock at dawn.
  18. Three things of which not the half is to be believed that is boasted of them:
    1. wealth
    2. understanding
    3. goodness.
  19. Three things never end:
    1. the flowering of charity
    2. the soul
